#NowPlaying (3/28/12)

Long time no see guys. Sorry. Life gets in the way? Thats my only excuse. Anyways, lets get on to what I'm listening to right now, shall we?

1. "Feel So Close" - Calvin Harris
-Brittish producer, songwriter, and singer has had a breakout hit in this song, especially here in the US and his home county the UK. This song is fun, and the beat is dance breakdowns are undeniably fun and catchy. If you don't feel good after listening to this one, something's wrong with you. (4.75/5)

2. "Safe & Sound" - Taylor Swift and the Civil Wars
-Hunger Games fans,UNITE! Just kidding (but seriously,go see the movie, its amazing!!!) This song is off of the movie's soundtrack, and the songs lyrics make so much sense and mean alot more to me now that i've seen the movie. Great job writing this slow paced and charming song. (4.5/5)

3. "Hate To Say I Told You So" - The Hives
-Fast paced rock jam, influenced by classic rock, but with a modern sound. Sounds awesome, and its a great tune to rock out to. (4/5)

4. "I'm Not Alright" - Shinedown
-Fresh off of the new album "Amaryllis", this is one of the standout tracks on the album (along with "Unity".) The chorus is overwhelming cool, check it out! (4.75/5)

5. "I Come Alive" - The Used
-The lead single off of the recently released "Vulnerable", this is the best on an overall amazing album. It's eerie, its electronically tinged in its sound at times, and overall, just some of the best work the band has done. (5/5)

6. "Greyhound" - Swedish House Mafia
-Do I need to even say why I'm listening to this track? Its an awesome techno/ dubstep jam. (4.5/5)

7. "Someday's Gone" - The All-American Rejects"
-Best song on the new album by far. Reminiscent of "Move Along" (the album from 2005) Great lyrics with awesome sound and guitar work. (5/5)

8. "Blue Jeans" - Lana Del Rey
-The only track I actually like by Lana. Its just soo good. Hard not to like her voice and the flow of this song. (5/5)

9. "I Believe In A Thing Called Love" - The Darkness
-This guy has a crazy vocal range, and this 2006 modern rock jam has some rockin guitar parts and a solo, which makes for a fun ride. (4/5)
